There appears to be an ongoing Bitcoin scam occurring. Someone is sending old 2011 era Bitcoin addresses with balances, transactions with an OP_Return output. For instance the 1Feex… address, with c80,000 BTC stolen from MtGox. The OP_Return message is as follows “NOTICE TO OWNER: see www.salomon[]bros.[]com/owner_notice” The webpage then says: "This digital wallet appears to be lost or abandoned. Our client has taken constructive possession of it and is seeks to determine if there is a bona fide owner". This seems like a Calvin Ayre style legal scam. There is then a web form, seeking personal details. It should be noted that the website appears illegitimate. The website claims to be linked to the 1980’s Wall Street titan "Salomon Brothers". However, as far as we can tell, the links between this company and this website are fake. There is a page with an “advisory board” that contains real people who worked at Salomon Brothers in the 1980s, however, these people seem to have no link to this new spurious entity.
